Dublin Airport is located just north of the city centre and is a mere 15 minutes drive from Rush.
Rush community has much to offer its foreign visitors including a variety of clubs and societies. Rush is home to the Fingal Arts Centre , which is based in the old St. Maur’s Chapel, one of the earliest examples of a Penal Catholic Church in the Fingal area. The Fingal Arts Centre holds art exhibitions, monthly craft/county fairs, regular performing arts events and the local tourist information office. The local Millbank Theatre , home to Rush Dramatic Society, which just celebrated its 75 th anniversary, is well respected within the Irish Drama industry for its quality production of plays and dramas. This intimate theatre has recently been refurbished and now, companies and musical artists. Rush village also offers pubs, which cater for both young and old, eateries, sports clubs, a beautiful “Rush Sailing Club” and a 9 hole golf links in the renowned “Rush Golf Club”.
